Happy Tuesday! Normally, I would have blogged yesterday, but I took the day off work and decided that time would be better spent writing. So, I'm a day late, but hopefully not a dollar short. Book 5 is coming along nicely, and I am very close to wrapping up Chapter 10. It's been unseasonably cold here in Idaho the past few days, which has greatly helped my productivity.
In other news, Book 1 officially begins its copy edit next week! It's going to be the first time my work is professionally edited. It's exhilarating and also very nerve-wracking. It helps that my editor did Chapter 1 for free several months ago. When I received it back, I held my breath as I opened to file, fearing I would find nothing but a wall of red text waiting for me. Instead, it was quite encouraging, and I look forward to seeing what the process holds for the rest of the book. Once the edit is done, I will probably write a blog with more details about the overall process. If you have any specific questions you would like me to address in that blog, please leave them in the comments! Have you ever gone through a professional edit? If so, feel free to talk about your experience in the comments as well! That's all I have for you today. I'll be back soon with another blog. If you have a requested topic, I would love to hear it in the comments or via my Contact page! Until next time, stay safe and keep writing! ~Pete Follow me on social media! Instagram Youtube
